New Officiant Bootcamp

A beloved friend or family member can make a ceremony intimate and special. Many first-time officiants don’t know where to start. This bootcamp gets a family or friend on the ground running for Idaho weddings.

Legality – We guide your new officiant through the registration process. There are two major legal components for marrying a couple in our state.

Public Speaking – Speaking jitters are common! We’ll give you tips and practice for handling the nerves. Claire speaks to large groups professionally, and she can hook you up with tips.

Interacting with Sound Equipment – Newbies make mistakes with mics and speaker. We’ll show you how to confidently speak using our equipment in the most effective way.

Ceremony Dos and Don’ts – We’ve been to enough weddings to know where new officiants make mistakes.

Ceremony Review – When you’re done planning the ceremony, we will review your speech and provide suggestions.
